Family and Consumer Sciences International
Competition is an annual event held by
Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, IPB
University. This year, the theme of the competition
is “Bulding Family Well-being in Digital Era”. It
consists of poster and photography competitions
which can be participated by domestic and
overseas students.

• Theme
  Building Family Well-being in Digital Era
• Contestant
  1. Open for undergraduate and non undergraduate students from domestic and overseas
  2. 2-4 students per team (max. 1 entry)
• Poster Content
  1. Scientific poster, made based on the theme determined by the committee
  2. Consists of introduction, method, result, discussion, conclusion and suggestion
  3. Written in English, no plagiarism
  4. Technical and visualization styles are free, original
  5. Should not contain elements that may harass any race, ethnic, and religion and should not
  conflict with applicable norms
• Format
  1. Digital-based image
  2. File format is .jpg/.JPEG
  3. Original work: A1 size (594 mm x 841 mm) 300 pixel/inch resolution.
  4. Thumbnail: A4 size (210 mm x 297 mm), 72 pixel/inch resolution
• Entry
  1. Entry period July 1 – July 30, 2019
  2. Files that must be submitted include scientific poster work (.jpg/.JPEG), Curriculum Vitae (.doc/docx), 1 scan of
       identity card, 1 letter of originality (.pdf), registration form (.pdf), and 3×4 colored photo (.JPG/.JPEG)
  3. Files are collected in the form of zip/rar and sent to summercourseikk@gmail.com with
       subject: “name of leader and member of the team_university name_poster ilmiah” (example: Renaldi and Harry_IPB
       University_poster ilmiah.)
  4. Send a confirmation text via SMS/WA to +6282220952594 (Mega) with format: name of leader and member of the team_university
      name_poster ilmiah_sudah kirim. Confirmation is done max. 24 hours after submission

  1. Open for undergraduate and non undergraduate students from domestic and overseas
  2. Individual (max. 1 entry)
• Photograph
  1. Never been published in any media or submitted in any competition
  2. The model/subject is the responsibility of contestant fully
  3. Must be a result from an actual photo shoot using a DSLR or Mirorless camera
  4. Digital imaging is limited to improving photo quality without changing the authenticity of the object
  5. Not allowed to submit a combination of more than one photo or remove/change elements
      in a single photo
  6. Should not contain elements that may harass any race, ethnic, and religion and should not
      conflict with applicable norms

  File format is .jpg/.JPEG
• Entry
  1. Entry period July 1 – July 30, 2019
  2. Files that must be submitted include photographic work (.jpg/.JPEG), description
      of photo (.txt or .doc/.docx, curriculum vitae (.doc/.docx), 1 scan of identity card, 1 letter
      of originality (.pdf), registration from (.pdf), and 3×4 colored photo (.JPG/.JPEG)
• Files are collected in the form of zip/rar and sent to summercourseikk@gmail.com with the
  subject: “full name_university name_fotografi” (example: Renaldi_IPB University_fotografi)
• Send a confirmation text via SMS/WA to +6282220952594 (Mega) with the format: full
  name_university name_fotografi_sudah kirim. Confirmation is done max. 24 hours after
  submission
• Photo (hardcopy) can be sent to the address: Departemen Ilmu Keluarga dan Konsumen,
  Gedung GMSK Lantai 2, Kampus IPB Dramaga Bogor 16680, Bogor, Jawa Barat, Indonesia

• Works that have been submitted become the property of the committee and the judges’
  decision cannot be contested
• The committee has the right to publish any submitted scientific poster or photograph while
  still including the author’s name
